PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts and the size of a card processing device. SOLUTION: A card holding member 35 is supported so as to be optionally moved in a direction A-B for inserting/ejecting a card 5. The member 35 is provided with an abutting part 44a on which the tip of the inserted card 5 is abutted and a roller 38 to be optionally moved in a direction rectangular to the A-B direction. The roller 38 is energized to the side of a cam plate 12 by a plate spring 39 and the cam plate 12 is provided with a cam part 13 along which the roller 38 is slid. When the roller 38 is slid along the cam part 13, the card 5 is held between the roller 38 and the opposite contact part 40 of the member 35.
