PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate the utilization of an information terminal by relatively easily specifying an opposite information terminal to perform communication from among a plurality of information terminals installed in a prescribed area. SOLUTION: In the method for specifying the opposite information terminal to perform the communication from among the plurality of information terminals installed in the prescribed area, a communicating party selection image for which images are arranged at respective positions corresponding to the installed positions of the information terminals is displayed, the specification of the image in the communicating party selection image is received from a user and the communication is performed with the information terminal installed at the position corresponding to the display position of the image specified by the user.
