A detergent supply device of a washing machine is provided to remove the incorrect combination and preclude a detergent box from being defectively opened and closed by placing a rib at a siphon cap. A detergent supply device of a washing machine comprises a detergent housing; a detergent box(40) arranged with plural liquid detergent storing spaces(43,44,45) divided by partitions(41,42); siphon projections(46,47) formed at the storage spaces; a siphon cover(60) formed with siphon caps(61,62) combined with the plural siphon projections for the siphon operation; and a rib(66) formed at the siphon cap and extended with predetermined length so as to prevent the siphon cap from being incorrectly combined. An extension part(67) is arranged at one side of the siphon cap and extended with the predetermined length, and the rib is formed at the extension part. A water level display part(67a) is arranged on the outer surface of the siphon cap.
