An apparatus for collecting sediment of a manhole for drain water is provided to allow a worker to check the inner state of the manhole by installing an inspection window and an illumination apparatus at a manhole cover. An apparatus for collecting sediment of a manhole comprises a sediment collection box(20) installed at a manhole bottom surface provided with a mounting deck and a guide to collect sediment. A draw wire(30) has one end coupled to the sediment collection box(20) and the other end suspended by a draw ring hanger fixed to the manhole(10). An inspection window(50) is installed at a manhole cover(40) for checking the inner state of the manhole(10). An illumination apparatus(60) is fixed to the lower portion of the manhole cover(40). A measurement rod(70) is used for measuring the accumulated amount of sludge collected by the sediment collection box(20).
