An elbow valve for blocking inverse current is provided to enable normal operation of a water meter and prevent the water meter from being out of order or being broken. An elbow valve for blocking inverse current comprises a check valve(1) and a water outlet pipe(2). The check valve(1) comprises a water inlet pipe(11), a disk(12), and a movable bolt(14). The water inlet pipe(11) is formed at the front end of one side of the check valve(1). The disk(12) is guided by a guide hole at the lower center portion of the movable bolt(14) integrally formed with a handle axis(13). The movable bolt(14) is moved up and down by a handle(16) assembled to the upper end of the handle axis(13), so that a perforation hole(17) is opened or closed. The water outlet pipe(2) is formed at the water outlet portion of the check valve(1).
