SEAT SYSTEM, CONTROLLER, AND DISPLAY CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to designate (reserve) a seat which anyone can freely take fundamentally.

SOLUTION: The seat system includes: a reader 12 for reading information from a recording carrier 4; a display device 13 for displaying whether a corresponding seat is available or not; and a controller 10 for controlling display of the display device 13. The controller determines whether the user is a valid seat user or not on the basis of identification information identifying the recording carrier 2, which is read from the recording carrier 4 by the reader 12, and identification information identifying the recording carrier 4, which is included in sale information of a reservation ticket for the seat corresponding to the display device 13, and display of the display device 13 is controlled in accordance with the determination result.
