PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system mainly for an infrared ray, capable of obtaining highly sensitively an output signal, from a focusing plane array of a micro bolometer element temperature-stabilized inexpensively. SOLUTION: A micro bolometer array of a passive element is swept with a high level of pulse-like bias current having a short duration, because a stabilized temperature is expected to be used mainly at an ambient temperature, although the stabilized temperature is selectable over a wide temperature range by a designer or a user.
