PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cool a working fluid used in process machinery with small energy.SOLUTION: A cooling device comprises a first passage through which cooling water flows, a second passage through which a coolant flows, first switching means of switching between a state in which cooling water flows through the first passage and a state in which the cooling water does not flow through the first passage, second switching means of switching between a state in which the coolant flows through the second passage and a state in which the coolant does not flow through the second passage and a controller for controlling the first and second switching means. The controller can execute at least a first control mode in which, while the first switching means is operated to make cooling water flow through the first passage, heat exchange between cooling water and a working fluid is carried out and a second control mode in which, while the second switching means is operated to make the coolant flow through the second passage, heat exchange between the coolant and the working fluid is carried out. |
