PURPOSE:To prevent the abrasive elevationally guiding member and the slide of an angle cutting machine from wearing by eliminating scattering of cutting iron chips and abrasive particles produced by a rotating abrasive toward the guiding member and the slide. CONSTITUTION:A rotatable abrasive 30 is supported by a supporting member 22, guided by guide members 18, 19, and elevationally moved by the operartion of a lever 32. A workpiece 38 to be cut is set by a vice. In case of cutting an angle at the workpiece 38, a rotating member 25 is rotated at desired angle and the abrasive 30 is prositioned at desired angle with respect to the workpiece 38 to be thus cut. In case of cutting the workpiece in abrasive direction, the abrasive is so positioned as not to fly the cutting iron chips and abrasive particles toward guide members 18, 19. |
