PURPOSE:To detect a failure in an address buffer circuit system quickly, by adding a check circuit of an address signal. CONSTITUTION:A signal given to an address input line 7-1 enters an address buffer 7 and is inputted to a column decoder 2 and a row decoder 3 of a memory M. A memory cell is selected out of a memory array 1 with this output. Write data given from a write data line 5-1 to a write amplifier 5 is designated with a write designation signal from a signal line 5-2 and data is written in a memory cell through a write/read driver 4. The data read out from a selected memory cell via the driver 4 is outputted to a read data line 6-1 through a read amplifier 6. |
