<p>A manipulator automatically carrying tights from a sewing machine to a conveyor has a straight horizontal track running bete between the two, a carriage moving on the track with jaws gripping the elastic hem of a pair of tights, a finger on the carriage orienting the hem so that its seams are in a median vertical plane, a lever with a wheel sliding on a cam on the track and a toothed sector with a return spring on the lever engaging a toothed ring on the jaws to turn the hem about a horizontal axis and fold it over a board assembling stacks of superposed pairs of tights.</p> |
