PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire excellent in heat radiation characteristics. SOLUTION: A main body 3 holding circular fluorescent lamps 1 and 2 is hanging from a ceiling with a cord 4. A circular hole edge 6 of a shade 5 is placed at the outside edge of the main body 3. The main body 3 is not a disc as before, and both side surfaces 7 and 7, facing each other, of the main body 3 are cut to be almost flat plane. Gaps 8 and 8 for heat radiation are formed between the side surfaces 7 and 7 and the circular hole edge 6 of the shade 5. The circular hole edge 6 of the shade 5 is placed on a pair of arc parts 9 and 9, facing each other, remaining at the main body 3. With this configuration, the gaps 8 and 8 improve the heat radiation characteristics. Since the circular hole edge 6 of the shade 5 is placed on the pair of arc parts 9 and 9, facing each other, remaining at the main body 3, no dislocation between the center of shade 5 and that of the main body 3 substantially occurs, leading to prevention of tilting of the luminaire. |
