摘要 <p>A binder composition for use in producing an electrode for lithium-ion secondary batteries which comprises: particles of a polymer which (1) has structural units (a) derived from a mono-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic ester monomer and at least one kind of structural units selected from structural units (b) derived from a mono-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer and structural units (c) derived from a conjugated diene monomer, (2) has a ratio of [structural units (a)]/[structural units (b) + structural units (c)] of (99 to 60)/(1 to 40) by weight, (3) has a total content of the structural units (a), (b), and (c) of 80 wt.% or higher based on all structural units, and (4) has substantially no structural units derived from a mono-ethylenic aromatic hydrocarbon monomer; and an organic dispersion medium which (5) has a boiling point at ordinary pressure of 80 to 35 °C and in which the polymer particles are dispersed. When an electrode produced with the binder composition is employed in a lithium-ion secondary battery, the battery has a high capacity and excellent charge-discharge characteristics at high temperatures.</p>
