<p>Lubricious medical devices having physiologically active ingredients imbibed therein disclosed. A variety of polymeric substrates such as, for example, catheters, stents, dilatation balloons, guide wires, endotracheal tubes, instruments, implants and other medical devices can provide lubricity and abrasion resistance as well as substantially constant release profiles of the physiologically active ingredients for extended periods, e.g., 3 to 30 days or more.</p> |
