METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY CHANGING TO ALARM MODE IN MOBILE TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A method for automatically changing to an alarm mode in a mobile terminal is provided to automatically change the alarm mode when a traffic state does not exist within a determined time or when a terminal user does not respond to a call. CONSTITUTION: A call is received to a terminal. The terminal counts intercepted call frequencies received to the terminal. The terminal compares count values with a predetermined first reference value. If the intercepted call frequencies are larger than the first reference value, a current mode of the terminal is automatically converted into a mode generating an alarm mode. Even though a conversion step is performed, when a call is constantly intercepted, the terminal counts the intercepted call frequencies, and compares the intercepted call frequencies with a predetermined second reference value to convert a current mode into an other mode.
