PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary photocoupler capable of transmitting/receiving light between a rotor side and a stator side bilaterally in a plurality of circuits through light-emitting sections and light-receiving sections both installed in annular dark rooms. SOLUTION: This rotary photocoupler has a rotor frame mounted on a rotor shaft and a stator frame engaged with the rotor frame relatively rotating or stopping freely by commonly sharing the axis of the rotor shaft. Further, the photocoupler is provided with an annular dark room centered by the rotor shaft between the rotor frame and the stator frame; an annular light-emitting section which is located inside the dark room on one side of the rotor frame or the stator frame, is centered by the rotor shaft, and flashed according to a signal; and an annular light-receiving section which is located at a position facing to the annular light emitting section on the other side of the stator frame of the rotor frame, and receives the flashing light from the annular light emitting section. |
