PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device with which an elderly or physically challenging person can get into a bathtub and wash his body by a seat with a backrest. SOLUTION: A stainless steel pipe and a seat with a backrest or the like are attached in the vicinity of a ceiling, and a wire rope is stretched, and a rope driven with an electric lift lowers the seat with a backrest when bathing, lifts the seat to the height of the rim of a bathtub when washing a body, and lifts the seat to the height of the rim of the bathtub and puts a bather on a wheelchair when bathing ends.
