PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic foam forming method of a seat pad which enables to stabilize the bordering shape between the side pad and the pad body without consuming the extra manufacturing time. SOLUTION: Plastic foam resin material is injected in the cavity 12 for the pad body of the lower side mold and in the cavities 11 for the side pads which are formed at the side of the bordering partition 13 at both ends of the pad body so as to make plastic foaming of a seat pad in which the side pads 1b having relatively higher hardness are disposed at the both sides of the pad body 1a. When the wire inserting bag 21, in which a wire 25 is inserted in the reinforcement seat 20, is formed at the opposing positions of the bordering partition 13, and an insert core 19 is set at the lower mold 10, a partition wall for the plastic foam resin is formed on top of the bordering partition 13 by hanging down the wire inserting bag 21 inserted with the wire 25 toward the bordering partition 13 at the both ends. The reinforcement seat 20 and the wire 25 for hanging the seat cover are integrally plastic foamed.
