POLISHED OBJECT HOLDING MATERIAL AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PURPOSE: To provide a polished object holding material and a method of manufacturing the polished object holding material high in productivity, low in cost and prevented from the fall of a resin part from a bonded part without using an abrasive or the like in forming the resin part at the inner peripheral part of a holding hole in the polished object holding material formed of a metal plate. CONSTITUTION: The inner peripheral surface of each through hole of the metal plate is chamfered or anchor-machined, and thermoplastic resin is injection- molded on the inner peripheral surface of the through hole. A resin part is thereby formed on the whole surface of the through hole and then eliminated by cutting, leaving the peripheral part of the resin part to form the polished object holding hole.
