PURPOSE: A driver for an electrodeless display device is provided to elongate the lifetime of a magnetron by maintaining the operational temperature of a magnetron filament by fixing the frequency of power supplied to the magnetron filament. CONSTITUTION: A driver for an electrodeless display device includes a rectifying/smoothing unit(100), a microcomputer(700), the first and second inverters(200,400), the first converter(300), the second converter(500), and a high voltage generator(600). The rectifying/smoothing unit generates a DC voltage from a commercial AC voltage. The microcomputer detects variation of the commercial AC voltage and outputs a corresponding switching control signal. The first and second inverters vary the frequency of the DC voltage according to the switching control signal to output a constant DC voltage. The first converter induces a constant current, proportionate to the number of coil turns, according to the output AC voltage of the first inverter and applies the induced current to a secondary magnetron filament. The second converter induces a constant current proportionate to the number of coil turns according to the output AC voltage of the second inverter. The high voltage generator generates the high voltage for driving the magnetron by using the output voltage of the second converter.
