GARBAGE COLLECTION VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage collection vehicle capable of preventing discharge of the stored dust-garbage from being suppressed by contact with a front surface wall of a garbage throwing box and enhancing efficient of discharge work. SOLUTION: The garbage throwing box 3 is provided at a rear side of a garbage storage box 2. The garbage throwing box 3 can be vertically turned making an upper part as a center and can be raised to a first raised position and a second raised position B above it. At the first raised position, the front surface wall 21 of the garbage throwing box 3 becomes horizontal. At the second raised position B, a projection part 22 existing on the front surface wall 21 of the garbage throwing box 3 becomes an upper position than an upper end 2b of an opening 2a of the garbage storage box 2. When it is detected by a detection means that the garbage throwing box 3 exists between the first raised position and the second raised position B, a control means moves a discharge plate 38 in the garbage storage box 2 in a rear direction of the vehicle and the discharge work of the garbage can be performed.
