The present invention relates to a RFID reader for a smart card, configured to improve performance of a RFID loop antenna by minimizing electromagnetic wave interference, caused by a surrounding circuit and a metal component. The RFID reader comprises: the loop antenna formed on an outer surface of a front unit of a display provided on a terminal; and an electromagnetic wave shielding unit formed on a rear surface of the display and eliminating electromagnetic wave interference. The loop antenna is more protruding than the display, and the electromagnetic wave shielding unit is formed on a bezel unit of the display. |
