PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system for enabling a user to easily select a desired electronic apparatus.SOLUTION: In the information processing system in which an information processor is connected to a portable terminal through a network, the portable terminal includes means for receiving a radio wave transmitted from an electronic apparatus by short-range radio communication, including affiliation information of the electronic apparatus, and electronic apparatus display means for designating the affiliation information included in the radio wave to display information of the electronic apparatus acquired from the information processor, receiving selection of the affiliation information from a user, and designating the affiliation information to request of the information processor that one or more electronic apparatuses are started to be used. The information processor includes information management means for reading information of an electronic apparatus associated with the affiliation information to return the information to the portable terminal in response to the request for the information of the electronic apparatus with the affiliation information designated, and apparatus connection management means for receiving the request to start to use the electronic apparatus with the affiliation information designated from the portable terminal, and requesting the electronic apparatus to prepare a use start.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
