PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveying device that can achieve facilitation of maintenance work relating to replacement of separation pieces.SOLUTION: A sheet conveying device 1 comprises: a base body 99 constituting a conveying surface 93A on which a sheet SH is conveyed; a separation roller 42 that rotates around a first rotary shaft core X42 parallel to a width direction of the conveying surface 93A and conveys the sheet SH to a downstream side in a conveyance direction crossing the width direction; a separation piece 43 that opposes to the separation roller 42 and separates the sheet SH to be conveyed into pieces in cooperation with the separation roller 42; a storing member 100 that constitutes part of the conveying surface 93A and is provided at a position opposing to the separation roller 42 to be attachable to and detachable from the base body 99; a holder 120 that holds the separation piece 43 and is supported on the storing member 100 to be approachable to and separatable from the separation roller 42; and first energizing means 151 that is provided between the storing member 100 and the holder 120 and energizes the separation piece 43 toward the separation roller 42.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
