PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To block scattered water going from a clearance below dewatering means to an upstream side so as to improve descaling efficiency.SOLUTION: A descaling facility includes: a shooting nozzle that shoots high pressure water at scale generated on the surface of a rolling target material so as to remove the scale; and dewatering means that is disposed on a further upstream side in a direction to convey the rolling target material than the shooting nozzle and recovers the water shot from the shooting nozzle. The dewatering means includes: a first dewatering plate part whose upper end position in a horizontal direction is located on a further upstream side than a lower end position thereof in the horizontal direction, the first dewatering plate part having a flat surface or curved surface; and a second dewatering plate part whose upper end position in the horizontal direction is located on a further downstream side than a lower end position thereof in the horizontal direction, the second dewatering plate part being disposed lower than the first dewatering plate part and having a flat surface or curved surface. |
