PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary washing device which is safe and reliable by preventing erroneous detection and erroneous operation with improved detection accuracy of non-contact operation.SOLUTION: A sanitary washing device comprises: a main body which is installed on a toilet bowl and incorporates an electric operation function; and a remote controller. The remote controller has a human body detection sensor 310, two non-contact switches 441 and 442, a remote controller control section 500, and a transmission section 436. The remote controller control section 500 has: variation detection sections 521 and 523 which detect variations of output voltage of the human body detection section 540 and the non-contact switches 441 and 442; change rate detection sections 522 and 524 which detects change rates; and an information processing section 590 which determines non-contact operation. The information processing section 590 can accurately determine regular non-contact operation and prevent erroneous detection by determining the non-contact operation using at least two output voltages among the output voltages of the human body detection section 540, the variation detection sections 521 and 523 and the change rate detection sections 522 and 524. |
