Control fitting for the variable, so far as possible cavitation-free, throttling of liquid flows (Q), flowing in pipe lines (R), from a first pressure level (P1) to a second lower pressure level (P2) in accordance with a predetermined control variable, in particular with actuators (K1, K2) designed as throttle valves and having a large nominal diameter and/or for low pressure level. At least one fixed throttle (D1) integrated in the pipe line is arranged downstream of at least two actuators (K1, K2) mechanically coupled to one another. In particular, as viewed in the direction of flow, the first and second throttle valve (K1, K2) of a throttle-valve combination as well as a first and a second fixed throttle (D1, D2) follow one another at a mutual distance (a1, a2, a3).
