PURPOSE:To prevent burning loss of a hoop electrode plate caused by heat generation or explosion caused by spark by improving a feeder part to a hoop negative plate. CONSTITUTION:Forming solution 14 is filled in a bath. A negative plate 1 is pressed against a feeder roller 10 with tension rollers 12 and 13. The tension roller 10 has large number of corrosion resistant metal bars 15 such as stainless steel ones bonded in axial direction in its circumference. The roller 10 is supported with a bearing 15 and rotated in synchronization with transfer speed of the plate with a driving device. In this forming equipment, since contact part of the feeder roller 10 with the negative plate is immersed in forming solution 14 in the bath 11, heat generating during electricity supply is cooled, and burning loss of the negative plate is decreased. Even if spark is generated by insufficient contact of the negative plate with the roller, it occurs in the solution. Therefore, even if hydrogen gas is generated by electrolysis in the forming bath, explosion by spark is prevented. |
