The invention relates to a life raft with a closure flap which is arranged in an entry and exit hatch and can be closed by means of zip fasteners. In order to prevent leakage water from passing into the passenger space of the life raft as a result of the unavoidable leakiness of the zip fasteners, it is proposed to attach a sealing apron on the passenger-space side. On the one hand, the sealing apron can be swung up and fixed in such a way that a pocket results which covers the entire closure flap including the zip fasteners and is water-tight at the sides and bottom and in which the leakage water coming in is caught. On the other hand, the sealing apron is amply dimensioned laterally in such a way that it can be swung down and then clears the entire entry and exit opening. <IMAGE> |
