The printed circuit board edge connector receives the PCB edge (100) in between a contact point (17d) formed by a V-shaped curved part of a spring contact element (17a) and an inverted-V-shaped part of a second spring contact (20a). The PCB is pushed in at an angle at first giving only light contact to the board. When the board is moved to the horizontal the contact (17d) is depressed onto the PCB to bend the spring contact to one wall (9) of the connector housing and the second contact point is depressed to move away from the other wall (11). Electric connection to the board is made by the contacts on either side of the board.
