Fluorinated tertiary butylamines of formula (I) are new: X1, X2, X3 = H or F, at least one of X1-X3 being F. Specifically claimed are all three cpds. of formula (I), i.e. 2-fluoro-1,1-dimethyl-ethylamine, 2-fluoro-1-fluoromethyl- 1-methylethylamine and 2-fluoro-1,1-bis(monofluoromethyl) ethylamine.
