PURPOSE:To easily specify resolution and pattern size and effectively improve a printing speed as to the outline font developing device for a printer, etc., which develops an outline font into a raster font and obtains an output on a medium. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a storage means 2 which stores the resolution and pattern size specified by a specific input means and when the device is powered ON, a font developing means 1 develops the outline font read out of an outline font storage means 3 into the raster font on the basis of the resolution and pattern size stored in the storage means 2. |
