Heat-vulcanisable silicone elastomer compositions usable especially in the field of electrical wiring and cables, characterised in that they comprise at least a 100 weight parts of a polydiorganosiloxane polymer, 5 - 100 weight parts of a reinforcing filler, 0.2 - 7.5 weight parts of an organic peroxide, 0.5 - 39.8 weight parts of a mica, and 0.2 - 10 weight parts of zinc oxide. Total amount of mica and zinc oxide is 40 weight parts maximum. Compositions are in the form of coatings upon the solid carrier.
