A lost wax casting process is used for the production of snap link hooks of metal or plastics, with an outer (1) and inner snap link sections and a steel spring. A rubber or silicon mold is used to shape the lost wax mold, using a production model (7). The outer (1) and inner sections are separate. The production model (7) is wedge shaped, and is composed only of eight outer sections (1). The rubber or silicone mold is used to give only inner or outer sections of the snap link hook.
