OPTICAL ACTIVATING CARBON ACID AND METHOD FOR PREPARING ISOMER ESTER

PURPOSE: Provided are a method for producing an optically activated carbonic acid and its mirror image isomer ester. The optically activated carbonic acid which do not lose its activity at high temperature can be effectively produced with low costs. CONSTITUTION: A microorganism Klebsiella pneumoniae BR-317 (KCCM-10105), which is useful for separating the optically active mixture, can hydrolyze ester of carbonic acid ester racemate. The optically activated carbonic acid represented by formula (1) is produced by hydrolysis of carbonic acid ester racemate represented by formula (2) using the fermented culture of an ester decomposing microorganism that is selected from Klebsiella pneumoniae BR-317 (KCCM-10105), Klebsiella pneumoniae (ATCC 10031) and Klebsiella oxytoca (ATCC 8724), in which R1 is alkyl, aryl or arylalkyl; R2 and R3 are alkyl; and n is an integer of 1 or 2.
