PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer sheet for an ink jet printer which is excellent in stability of passing and non-staining properties inside the printer and also excellent in ink absorption in such a high degree as not causing irregular density transfer. SOLUTION: The transfer sheet for the ink jet printer is constituted of a base and a transfer layer being peelable from the base and containing hot-melt adhesive particles. The transfer layer contains, as the hot-melt adhesive particles, hot-melt adhesive particulates (A) of which the melting point exceeds 80 deg.C and hot-melt adhesive particulates (B) of which the melting point is 80 deg.C or below, and the hot-melt adhesive particulates (A) are constituted of hot-melt adhesive particulates (A1) of which the coil absorption is 50 ml/100 g or above and hot-melt adhesive particulates (A2) of which the oil absorption is below 50 ml/100 g. The transfer layer may further contain a film-forming resin component and a dye bonding agent. |
