PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure strength against load sufficiently applied from the vehicle upper side (road surface) when a vehicle is fallen down to be inverted, without introducing weight increase of the vehicle.SOLUTION: A roof structure 10 for a vehicle comprises: a roof module 11 and a pair of body side modules 12. The body side module 12 includes a body side inner panel 17 extending in the forward and backward direction of the vehicle; a body side outer panel 18 which is arranged to have a space outside in the vehicle width direction of the body side inner panel 17 and forms a closed cross section with the body side inner panel 17; and pillar reinforces 19 and 20 which are arranged in the space between the body side inner panel 17 and the body side outer panel 18 and form a closed cross section with the body side inner panel 17. The pillar reinforces 19 and 20 are formed so that one end contacts the inner wall upper surface of the body side outer panel 18 and the other end extends in the upward and downward direction of the vehicle. |
