A return pipe arrangement (30) transports essentially all of the air that has been passed through the chamber (1) and comprises at least one blower device (5). The return and supply pipes are combined in a coupling section (6) which is located upstream from the air inlet device and is connected to the exit pipes. The system is used to supply, return, freshen and mix air, and comprises an arrangement of exit pipes (31) for removing part of the air volume that has been passed through the chamber, an arrangement of return pipes for returning the remainder of this air volume to at least one inlet device near one of the chamber walls, an arrangement of supply pipes (33) for supplying fresh air to the inlet device, an arrangement of inlet pipes (34) for transporting air from the inlet device into the chamber, and an arrangement of ventilators (4) inside the chamber for circulating air through this chamber.
