<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select an optimum line form a plurality of lines connectable in a mobile communication environment and connect it to a provider. SOLUTION: Mobile equipment 8 has a standard radio data communication facility 9 attached thereto and public telephones 26 to 28 also have respective standard radio data communication facilities 32 to 34. Providers 2 to 4 transmit information about the dial numbers of access points AP 11 to 19 and communication speed/fee/speed/kind and the like to the center stations of respective telephone companies to store this information in DB 23 to 25. Information is transmitted from the center stations to the access points AP best-suited for the telephone numbers of the public telephones 26 to 28 and is stored in DB 29 to 31. The mobile equipment 8, when the user start communication, acquires information about the best-suited access point AP from each of the public telephones 26 to 28, and after the conditions of the public telephones are compared to one another within the mobile equipment 8, the public telephone under the condition advantageous for the user is used to dial up the best-suited access point AP.</p> |
