PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile terminal that can confirm reception of a facsimile document and its reception state by a FAX reception memo so as to omit a phone confirmation of the FAX reception and the reception state. SOLUTION: A FAX reception section 14 stores received FAX data to a reception memory section 15 and outputs the data to a print section 18 and stores a 1st sheet of the received data to a 2nd reception memo memory 17. When the print of the received data is finished, data of a fixed form part of the FAX reception memo stored in a 1st reception memo memory 16 and part of the 1st page of received data stored in the 2nd reception memo memory 17 are outputted to the print section 18, which prints out a FAX reception memo. A recipient of the FAX describes required items of the reception state or the like to the FAX reception memo and faxes the memo to a sender. Thus, the FAX sender receives the FAX and confirms the reception state so as to cope with the contact contents of the FAX reception memo.
