A glass having a substrate and a polarization layer containing at least a polarizer wherein the aspect ratio of the polarizer is 1.5 or more and the long axis of the polarizer is aligned obliquely to the surface of the substrate. A mode where the long axis of the polarizer is aligned at an angle of not less than ±30° but less than ±80° to the surface of the substrate, a mode where the polarization layer is provided on a side of the substrate on which the light of the sun does not impinge when the glass is arranged such that the light of the sun impinges from one side of the substrate, and a mode where an antireflection film is provided on the outermost surface on the side of the substrate on which the light of the sun does not impinge when the glass is arranged such that the light of the sun impinges from one side of the substrate are preferably employed.
