[PROBLEMS]A paper diaper in which a buttock cover section of a back exterior sheet is prevented from swelling and curling.[MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS]A belly-side exterior sheet (12F) and the back exterior sheet (12B) are not connected on the crotch side. The back exterior sheet (12F) has a body section (13) located in a top-bottom direction region that is the same region where joint sections (12A) are located and also has a back extension section (14) extending to the underside of the body section (13). The belly-side exterior sheet (12F) is only in a top-bottom region that is the same region where joint sections (12A) are located. The back extension section (14) has a lateral center section (14M) superposed on an absorptive body (20) and also has buttock cover sections (14C) extending from opposite sides of the lateral center section (14M). First elongate elastic stretchable members (15) are fixed to the body section (13) while being laterally stretched at a predetermined stretch ratio, second elongate elastic stretchable members (16) are fixed to the buttock cover sections (14C) while being laterally stretched at a predetermined stretch ratio, and fourth elongate elastic stretchable members (19U) having high contraction force are fixed to the lower end part of the belly-side exterior sheet (12F) while being laterally stretched. As a result, contraction forces between the belly and back sides at the lower end part of the joint sections (12A) are balanced. |
