PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonmagnetic single component developer which has a high mechanical strength and is hardly broken, which generates an enough charge even at a high temperature and high humidity and which hardly produce a residual toner. SOLUTION: The nonmagnetic single component developer essentially comprises a binder resin containing a polyolefin resin having a cyclic structure, a coloring agent and a charge controlling agent and is composed of irregular particles which are approximately spheric.
