PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To finely circulate two or more kinds of fluid without leakage.SOLUTION: In a multiple flow passage type rotary joint, between opposite peripheral surfaces of a case body 1 and a rotary shaft body 2, four or more mechanical seals 3 sealed by a relative rotary sliding action of opposite end surfaces 31a and 32a of a stationary sealing ring 32 provided on the case body 1 and a rotary sealing ring 31 provided on the rotary shaft body are arranged. A passage connection spaces 4 sealed by the adjacent mechanical seals 3 and 3 are formed, and fluid passages 7 and 8 communicating with both bodies 1 and 2 through the passage connection spaces 4 are formed. The rotary sealing rings 31 and 31 of the adjacent mechanical seals 3 and 3 are shared by one rotary sealing ring 31A. On both end surfaces 31a and 31a and an outer peripheral surface of the shared rotary sealing ring 31A, coating layers 10a, 10a, 10b made from a material having a large heat conduction coefficient and hardness as compared with a structure material of the rotary sealing ring 31A are formed in series.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
