PURPOSE: A character message relay system and a character message relay method are provided to receive a character message from a computer system and transmit the received character message to a character message recipient through an SMS(Short Message Service) gateway. CONSTITUTION: A web management console(11) receives registration information including a computer system ID, a telephone number of a character message recipient terminal(50), and a telephone number of a computer system operator terminal(60) from an operator of a computer system(20), and stores and registers received registration information in a DB(12). A character message relay server(13) receives a character message from the computer system(20) registered in the DB(12), and provides the received character message together with the telephone number of the character message recipient terminal(50) and the telephone number of the computer system operator terminal(60) to an SMS gateway(30). A charge processing unit(14) processes a charge on the basis of the providing number of character messages provided to the character message recipient terminal(50) or the computer system operator terminal(60) through the character message relay server(13), the SMS gateway(30), and a wireless network company system(40). |
