PURPOSE:To obtain a display with large size, good picture quality and good performance of visual recognition by arranging vertically densely lots of optical fibers in front of CRTs of plural arrangement forming a screen, arranging terminals of the fibers coarsely verticaly and placing a diffusing plate in front of the terminals. CONSTITUTION:Optical fibers 3 having 1-3mm. of diameter are adhered closely as a bundle on a display plane 5 of the CRT1, minute through-holes of equal interval are provided to the display panel 4 and the fibers are inserted in the holes and the terminals are fixed by using an adhesives. Further, the tip of the optical fiber is formed as frosted glass in order to widen the angle of visual recognition or irregular reflection of light is urged by adhering closely the diffusion plate in front of the display panel 4 so as to eliminate the effect of joint, allowing to improve the performance of visual recognition. |
