Device for probing boreholes

A device is provided for probing boreholes, in which the standpipe is to be connected in a force-closed fashion to the borehole wall and has a stop which interacts with locking members assigned to the probe rod in such a way that after the probe rod has been guided through the standpipe and introduced into the borehole it is fixed therein. The standpipe can then directly be rotated and also be moved slightly in the longitudinal direction, but cannot be drawn out of the borehole. By cancelling the effect of the stop and of the locking members, it is, however, then possible after termination of the measurements to recover at least the probe rod, but also usually the standpipe, so that it can be multiply used. <IMAGE>
