PURPOSE:To increase the capacity of a controllable picture memory without increasing pin number of a control LSI by providing a supervisory means of a high-order address not outputted externally to a control LSI and converting the address into a low-order address when the high-order address is changed and outputting it externally so as to be reset. CONSTITUTION:A base register 4 storing a high-order several bits of an address as a base address is provided at the outside of a control LSI 1 and only a bit (low-order address) excluding a high-order bit corresponding to the address in the base register 4 is outputted from the control LSI1. Then the supervisory means 12, 13 of a high-order address not outputted externally are provided to the control LSI1, and when the high-order address is changed, it is outputted externally and reset to the base register 4. Even if the storage capacity of the picture memory 2 controlled is increased, the processing is coped with without increasing the bit number of the external base register 4 and the storage capacity of the controllable picture memory 2 is increased without increasing number of pins of the control LSI1.
