PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap feeder improved so that a cap delivered from a housing box can be smoothly supplied to a capping mechanism without being influenced by static electricity, the contamination of a shooter or the like. SOLUTION: In this cup feeder to be mounted on a cup-type vending machine to supply and put the cap onto the upper surface of a beverage containing cup on a cup carrying route within the machine comprising the cap housing box 11 and the cap shooter 12 laid between the cap housing box and the capping mechanism 7 arranged on the cup carrying route, a number of air blowout ports 12a are dispersively formed on the carrying surface of the shooter as a cap carrying trouble preventive means, an air guide manifold 13 and a blower 14 are attached to the reverse side of the cap shooter. Accordingly, air is blown out from the reverse side of the shooter to the carrying surface side through the air blowout ports according to the cap supplying operation to impart a floating force to the cap, so that the cap is smoothly slid down in the shooter.
