PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover for a water treating vessel on which a solar cell module is surely installed without being hindered an output cable drawn out of a rear surface. SOLUTION: This cover for the water treating vessel has a cover body 1 which covers an opening in the upper part of the water treating vessel and the solar cell module 2 which is installed atop the cover body 1 and is provided with the output cable 23 drawn out of its rear surface. The top surface of the cover body 1 is provided with a hollow groove 13 for housing the solar cell module and a depression 16 for housing a terminal box 22 and an output cable housing groove 17 linked with this depression 16 are formed on its base surface.
